Meet in person
Before I commit to anything, we meet face-to-face — usually over a coffee in Gloucester. No spec, no paperwork: I want to understand your business and the problem you're trying to solve, in your own words.

I write it up: what I'll build, what's included, and what isn't. If anything carries a cost — a domain, or hosting — it'll be in the plan, in your name. Nothing will be billed through me. We'll go through it on a follow-up call and agree it all before any code gets written.

You'll get a link to a working prototype early on — something you can open on your phone or laptop and click around, not a screenshot or a status update.
